Sara J. Mclaughlin

Sara J. McLaughlin, 40, passed away peacefully Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Peters Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Sara is the daughter of Timothy and Cheryl McLaughlin.

Sara is the devoted wife of over 12 years to Jeremy R. Barnes.

Sara attended Rasmussen College with Jeremy.

She was a Beachbody Coach for many years. She was a Content Specialist at ICUC.

She loved being a mom, and dedicated her life to her kids.

In addition to her mom and dad, Sara is survived by her husband, Jeremy. She is the beloved mother of; Aidan, Ryan and Charlotte. She is the sister of, Bridget (Charles Ford) McLaughlin, Timothy (Julia Toth) McLaughlin, Kelly (Joey) Mullen, Mary McLaughlin and Emily McLaughlin. She is the aunt of Kiara Desiree and Jack McLaughlin and Mercedes and Raelyn Barnes.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funeral, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. The parish of Christ the King will gather at 4:30 pm, all are welcome. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumpter Ave., Albany, NY 12203. Burial will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels, Cemetery, Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the fund account with Cap Com Federal Credit Union for the "Barnes Children".
