Sarah A. Miller

Sarah A. (Kochanski) Miller, 70, of Albany, passed away peacefully March 17, 2025 at Albany Medical Center.

Born February 6, 1955 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Kathleen “Sonny” (Ford) Kochanski.

Sarah was a resident of Albany and Valatie, NY, and attended St. Joseph’s Academy and Austin Beauty School in Albany. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a loving wife of 54 years, mother, grandmother, and most recently, a great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest pride. Sarah devoted much of her time over the past 50 years as a caretaker for her son, Bobby, who is intellectually disabled with Epilepsy, and always put his needs before her own. She has always been there for anyone in need, and will be missed dearly by so many people.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Laurel “Snooky” (Labuff) Keeter, George Labuff, and her cousin, Georgette (Koonze) Tuzzolo.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles Robert “Bob” Miller Sr; her beloved children, Misty A. (Miller) Premo (Stan Canelli) and Charles Robert “Bobby” Miller Jr; two cherished granddaughters, Brittney A. Premo (Peter Houck) and Kassidy Kathleen Premo; a precious great-grandbaby, Raymond Daniel Houck; brother, Joseph F. (late Barbara) Kochanski; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205 on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
