Clifton Park- Saroj Murarka, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Born in India, Saroj was the daughter of the late Dwarka P. and Chameli Goel. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Shyam P. Murarka.
Saroj was a wonderful cook, an expert jeweler, and enjoyed knitting and gardening. She cared very much for her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Saroj is survived by her son, Sumeet Murarka (Pamela) and her grandchildren Anisha, Sean, Maya and Elina.
She is also survived by her siblings and their families.
She is predeceased by her son, Dr. Amal Murarka (Marjorie Rosenthal).
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. The funeral ceremony will be private.
