Forest Hills NY- Scot J. Daniels, 53, passed away suddenly on November 13, 2021 at home.
Scot was born on August 28, 1968 in Albany, NY. He is the son of the late William E. and Patricia A. Daniels.
You leave behind a host of family and friends that love you and will miss you, including your brother, Mark (Randi); sister, Nicole (Kurt); nephews, Cole and Chad; grandmother, Doris; Jimmy, Tom, Margarita and his entire NYC Family. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved students.
Scot earned his Master's Degree from SUNY Albany in Education and went on to become a Spanish Teacher in NYC, which was his life's passion. He traveled the world, especially visiting many Spanish speaking countries to apply his love of the language. Scot enjoyed a large network of friends that became like family while he was living in NYC. He also frequently returned home to visit his family and his lifelong friends from Albany. Scot loved living life, singing karaoke and listening to music. He especially loved influencing the lives of the young people he taught. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend to many and he will be so dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie. A service will follow at 12pm.
