Scott B. Averill

WATERFORD – After a long, courageous battle with lung cancer, Scott B. Averill, 51, passed away peacefully with the love of his life right by his side.
Scott is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 37 years, Kim T. Averill. He is the proud father of "Daddy's Girl" Joelle, 33, and Ryan, 29, Scott, Jr., 20, and Shane, 14, who were known as "My boys" and his best friends. Scott was the loving son of the late Donald and Jean Averill. He is the loving brother of Cheryl (Jack) McCann, Kim (the late Frank) Criscione, Dee Blakeborough and Steven (Michele) Averill; loving son-in-law of Eleanor Pollier and Robert Wittemann; loving brother-in-law of Debbie (Vincent) Romeo, Karen Lamonica and Robert Pollier. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew and his two dogs.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
