Scott D. Guiton

SCHENECTADY- Scott D. Guiton passed away on March 18, 2023 after a short but fierce battle against a very aggressive cancer. He was born in Schenectady, NY on May 13, 1974 to Paul J. Guiton Jr. and Linda (Seib) Guiton.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving fiancee, Megan Wilcox and her beloved children, Brayden and Aubryee. He is also survived by his siblings: Cheryl Guiton-Provost (Mike Provost), Paul R. Guiton (Colleen) and Debra Hess (Daniel); one niece, six nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Scott was employed by Alternative Living Group for the last 18 years. He had a true love and gift for music and often was seen with his numerous friends performing or just enjoying many genres. He recently discovered a true gift for tye-dye and his creations will be treasured by many.
The family wishes to thank Scott's many friends, especially Matt Juk and Tom Hutchinson for all their help and devotion in Scott's final days.
Visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Thursday March 23, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a brief memorial service immediately following. In honor of Scott's love of tye-dye, the family encourages you to wear it if possible.
