Scott R. Sheldon, 62, of Albany NY, son to the late Jayne Moccio and Robert Sheldon passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Scott graduated from Houghton University with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. He found his passion for employment while at Maximus, Inc., where he worked for many years helping NY State residents. During his time working at Armark at the MVP Arena he enjoyed attending many concerts and shows, and mingling with those in attendance.
He is survived by James and Jeannette LaPorte, Richard and Dianne Sturm, Maggie (Sturm) Ellithorpe, Ian and Owen Ellithorpe, Craig and Kerri Moccio, his many cousins, and his lifelong best friend Kevin J. Sturm.
At the request of the family, services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
