Sean Prasetyo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sean Edward Prasetyo, on June 3, 2024. His presence made the world a better place, his absence is a loss to us all.

Born to Evelyn Rivera and Eddie Prasetyo on December 30, 1979 in Queens NY, Sean ultimately called the Capital Region home. He met his devoted wife Dawn in 2000, marrying in 2018, and settling in Johnstown where they would raise 3 wonderful cats, Lana, Chip, and Smokey.

Sean is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Evelyn Rivera, and survived by a loving family: his loving wife Dawn Prasetyo, Dad George “Pops” Rivera, Brother Sam Rivera (wife Katie Rivera) Sister Sandra Rivera (husband Michael Fancher) Sister Lisa Ashton (husband William Ashton) Brother Steven Rivera, father Eddie Prasetyo (wife Mina Prasetyo) brother Oliver Prasetyo, and sister Natasha Prasetyo and by so many loving friends and extended family.

Donations could be made in Sean’s memory to the Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville NY, allowing the dimming of his light to brighten the lives of pets in need.
