Sean Robert Whelan

NISKAYUNA, NY – After a short life of love and joy, Sean Robert Whelan went home to God his father. He was born on May 25, 2004 and is the beloved and cherished son of Shannon L. Whelan. Sean Robert loved music and dancing. He had a smile that would light up the world and he touched so many lives. In addition to his beloved and cherished mother, he is survived by his adoring grandparents, Jim and Maggie Whelan. Sean Robert will especially be missed by Julie and Kaylee with whom he and his Mom lived. Sean Robert was also loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sean and his Mom proved that "Love Conquers All."
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning at 9:00 at the Church of Saint Clare in Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Sean Robert Whelan Fund at any Capital District Key Bank.
