Senan P. Keane, 67, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Senan was born in Co. Clare, Ireland to the late James and Mary Keane. He came to the United States on July 4, 1962 with his best friend, Tommy King. He worked for many years framing houses for his brother-in-law, the late John J. King. He then worked as a security guard at Key Bank in Albany. In addition to his parents, Senan was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Ann; his sisters, Peggy Kosznik, Carmel King, Imy McEnteggart, Nonie Frawley, Mary Gallager, Pauline Haran and his brothers Jimo and Patrick Keane.

Senan is survived by his wife, Mary and with two wonderful children, Steven and Lisa; his brother, Tom Keane and his sisters, Kathleen King and Eileen Brophy, all from Chicago and Bridie Deegan in Ireland and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
