Seth Towse, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Seth was a graduate of Albany Academy, Dartmouth College and Cornell Law School. He served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York from 1963 to 1967. He later worked with DeGraff Foy representing the CSEA, then went into private practice. Prior to retirement he worked in the Executive Branch of New York State.
Seth is survived by his wife, Joanna (Giniewski) Towse; his daughter, Alison Carr; his son, Ian; his grandson, Tyler; his brother, Robert C. Towse; his nephew, Farley and his niece Carina.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am St. Mary's Church, Nassau. A Calling hour will precede the service at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dartmouth College Fund or Cornell Law School Fund in Seth's honor.
