Sharon Lee Currier

Sharon Lee Currier, 80, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, NY

Sharon was born on October 31, 1944, in Watervliet, the cherished daughter of the late Leroy G. and Jeannette I. (LeCuyer) Haver. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of everyone she met. Sharon dedicated many years to her work as a secretary for the NYS Court of Claims, where her kindness and dedication were felt by all. Outside of her career, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life - cooking delicious meals, watching the birds, dancing to her favorite tunes, and, most of all, being with her family and friends, who were her greatest treasures.

Sharon’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her daughters, Debra Bush and Lynn (Tony) Sgambellone; her grandchildren, Olivia Sgambellone, York (Lauren) Bush, Anthony Sgambellone, and Jack Bush; her brother, Jim (Jane) Haver; her sister, Debra (Ken) Walker; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Thursday, February 27th, with calling hours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., with interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
