Sharon D. Newcomb

Colonie – Sharon D. Newcomb, 57, passed away at her residence on Monday October 28th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Michael and Venetia Erceg.

Sharon was the owner and operator of the popular Albany night club Bogies, and gave it the name, during the 80's and early 90's. Sharon loved to spend time at her camp on Sacandaga Lake. She also loved to spend time with her dear friends. Sharon lived with her family and her greatest love of all was her four cherished grandchildren who she devoted her life to.
Sharon is survived by her son Wayne Jr. (Heather) Newcomb, her beloved grandchildren; Trent, Sydney, Alexandria, and London. She is also survived by her siblings Patricia (Robert) Ferris, Michael (Marjie) Erceg, and her nine nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Sharon will be held on Friday November 1st at 7 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. – 7p.m. at the funeral home
