Sharon De Cerce

Niskayuna- Sharon A. (Houghton) De Cerce died Monday at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. Sharon is the daughter of Helen A. (Juron) Houghton and Harold G. Houghton. She is the mother of Brian P. (Sonya) De Cerce and the grandmother of Christianna and Patrick De Cerce. Sharon is the sister of Marilyn (Houghton) La Londe and Harold A. Houghton and aunt to Peter La Londe, Pamela (La Londe) Perkins, Paula (La Londe) Gaul, Johanna (La Londe) Cohan, Brandon Houghton, Theresa Houghton, and the sister-in-law of Karen Houghton.

Sharon will be greatly missed, as will her always ready smile, happy laughter, graciousness and generosity. As her grandchildren always said, "she is a hard rock, heavy metal grandma who enjoyed life to its fullest."
