ALBANY- Sharon L. Seavey Peasley, 59 , of Albany, passed away on Thursday May 5, 2005 at the Inn of Community Hospice after a brief illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Edward and Susan Warner Seavey. Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Berne Knox Central High School. She had worked for several years as an updating clerk at Matthew Bender Company in Menands. Sharon was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed feeding her birds and squirrels, reading and talking about the good times with her family and friends.
She is the wife of Daniel E. Peasely Jr. Beloved mother of Scott Van Alphen (Bonnie), Paul Van Alphen (Gee Gee), Teresa Van Alphen Iovinelli (Mark), Denise Peasley Seeberger, Catherine Peasley Elthorp (Russ), David Peasley (Amy), Barbara Zimmer Doran (Bill), Matthew Zimmer (Sue) and Gwen Cirrincione. She is the sister of Mark Seavey (Mary). Dear cousin of Dorothy Dibble, Dorothy Kessler, Eileen Broderick and families. Sharon is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many other cousins, in laws and family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer- Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). At the request of the family and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Community Hospice of Albany 445 New Karner Rd. Albany NY 12205.
