Sharon Flanders, 68, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on February 16, 1945 to the late Ivan Peterson and Ethel Buddenhagen.
Sharon was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family.
Sharon is survived by her children, Tracey (John Vendetti) Flanders, Kathy (James) Walsh, and Jeffrey Flanders.She is the cherished grandmother of eight; Stephen (Aleasha) Swett, Brandon Maura, Rachel Walsh, Danny, Sylena, Amanda, Nicholas and Jeffrey Flanders. She is the sister of Harry (Cheryl) Peterson, Linda Bialous. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in Sharon's memory.
A Memorial service and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
