Sheila Marie Butler

TROY - Sheila Marie Butler, 65, wife of Mark Butler of Troy, passed peacefully on April 29, 2024. Born April 28, 1959, in Pulaski, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Donald McCollum and the late Eleanor Linberg.

Sheila attended Linton High School and earned her LPN license. She worked for NYS OPWDD and Glendale Nursing Home for over thirty years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Mark, her daughters Dominique Terry and husband Ralph Grant, Samara Butler and wife Amanda of Schenectady, stepson Adonist Barber and wife Alayna of Scotia; four grandsons, two granddaughters, one great-grandson, siblings Margo, Martin Sr., and Martha, as well as seven nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Sharon Sadger of Colorado and brother David McCollum.
