COLONIE- Sheila E. Schoonmaker, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15th, 2014 at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Sheila was born in Bedford, England to the late Arthur and Gertrude Rayner, on January 20, 1930. Sheila was the loving wife of the late William A. Schoonmaker.
Sheila leaves behind her seven children; Sandy Kappes, Lisa Bauer, William A. Schoonmaker, Dennis Schoonmaker, Steven Schoonmaker, Michael Schoonmaker, and James Schoonmaker, her brothers; George and Keith Rayner, and her sister, Mary Rayner-O'brien. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
One hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY.
