Sherry Lynn Montgomery, 54, of Albany, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Albany Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Albany where she was born and raised. Sherry was the daughter of Ronald and Beverly (Hempstead) Dames.
She was the devoted wife to Ronald N. Montgomery.
Loving mother of Jessica Dames, Charles Griffin and Christina Griffin. Cherished grandmother of Jada, Neko, Rhys and Dalilah.
Dearest sister of David, Jimmy, Felicia, Randy and Michael. Predeceased by brother Ronnie.
Also survived by brother-in-law Michael Triani and sister-in-law Lee Grant, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sherry has always been employed in health care working as a home health aide. Her last employer was the Belvedere Agency at the time of her death.
Sherry was a fan of Elton John. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and family. Her grandchildren were her world.
