Shirley Brownheim

Shirley M. Brownheim, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 25, 2011 at her home. She was born in Troy, to the late John and Caroline Duncan. Shirley was employed with the Treasury Department at NY Telephone of Albany. She was an avid and talented Tennis player as well as involved with the league operations of the Tri-City Tennis Club.
Shirley is survived by her husband of over 61 years, Irving Brownheim; her sister Carol Talarico, her nieces; Suzanne (Greg) Rucinski and Karen Culligan; her great nephew Anthony Culligan, and dear friends; Fay (Eileen) Richardson and Tom (Judy) DeLeonardis. She is also survived by many close friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 12:00pm.
