Albany- Shirley E. Marriam, 79, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 after a brief illness. Shirley was born July 11, 1936 in Watertown, NY.
After high school Shirley relocated to Albany where she held several managerial positions. Her last position before retirement was supervisor of Central Supply at Albany Medical Center. At the same time Shirley became a home health aide. She helped many seniors at Park View Apartments in Albany. Following retirement Shirley became a resident of those apartments and continued to work as a home health aide. Shirley was an avid bingo player and traveled to Saratoga Racino as well as OTB.
Shirley is survived by her closest friend Eleanor Grant as well as numerous friends at Park View Apartments.
Services will be private and at the convenience of her friends.
