Albany~
Shirley Harris "Tiny Blanchard" 64, of Albany, departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2020 after a brief illness.
She was born in Albany on June 24, 1955 to Shirley Ruth Johnson and the late John Henry Blanchard.
Survivors include a daughter Shawana Crenshaw and son Samul Jaquan Frazier.
Grandchildren; Samonnie, Samul, Jr., Desjare and Sammaje.
Six sisters; Earline Leigh, Josephine, Sheila, Tracy, Lanell Blanchard, Judy (Victor) Smith.
Seven brothers; Robert Lee (Lucy), Charles, Johnny, Wayne, Fields (Kim) and Doc Matthew Blanchard all of Albany and Randy (Crystal) of South Carolina.
She was predeceased by one sister, Barbara Ann Blanchard.
She is also survived by a special friend, Kevin Green, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends relatives.
Shirley worked for NYS Department of Motor Vehicles and later Albany School System before retiring.
She was a kind, caring, loving and devoted mother whose hobbies included shopping and walking. She loved spending time and caring for her grandchildren and was a very beautiful young woman with a charming personality who never hesitated when called upon to help family and friends.
Helping others was one of her greatest attributes. She will be greatly missed.
