Shirley I. Stover

ALBANY – Shirley I. Stover, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Owens. Shirley lived in Albany for most of her life. Shirley was the wife of the late Earl V. Stover. She is the mother of Earl R. Stover, Marion Forkel Hammer (Robert), Diane Buckley (Nick) and the late Cheryl Stover Bloss. She is the sister of Elizabeth Shannon, Marion Decker and the late Robert Owens. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
