Shirley J. Lee, 81, passed away on March 21, 2015 at the Home of the Good Shepherd in Malta.
Shirley was born March 25, 1933, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Melvin McLaughlin and Ethel Costrini.
She proudly served with the United States Air Force, she was employed by the New York State Police for 30 years. She volunteered with the Palace Theatre, the Empire State Plaza as an usher for many years. She loved bowling, golfing, playing bingo and she had a fantastic sense of humor.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, Douglas R. Lee.
Shirley is survived by her beloved daughter, Carmen M. Glenn, she is the cherished grandmother of Matthew (Heather) Seaton. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, McKinley and Tyler.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville New York.
