Shirley J. Lupi Vrooman

SCOTIA – Shirley J. Lupi Vrooman passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Glendale Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Madigan.
Shirley is survived by her first husband, Frank Lupi; children Deborah Tarka, Amelia "Amy"(Peter Kuebler) Lupi, Richard (Kathy) Lupi, Ann (Tom) Hall, Caroline (Randall Olocki) Lupi, John Lupi, Jeannine (Matthew Pelish) Lupi and Patti (James) Hanson; grandchildren Tom Tarka, Paul (Christina) Lupi, Caitlin Lupi, Christopher R. Lupi, Angela Hall, Jessica Hall, Rachael Olocki, Matthew Olocki, Kelly Lupi, William Ferrel, Hollyanne Lupi, Matthew Cremo, Madison Lupi, Brittany Nowiak, Aurora Hanson, and Isabella Hanson; five great grandsons; sisters Pat Pursel and Dorothy LaBrum; sister-in-law Margaret Lupi, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her second husband, George Vrooman and brother Harold "Butch" Madigan. Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the funeral home.
