Shirley L. Lilienthal

Altamont – Shirley L. Lilienthal passed away Monday December 14, 2009.
Shirley was born in Albany and was a lifelong resident of the capital district. She resided in Altamont for more than 30 years with her husband Henry, who predeceased her March 1st of this year. They were married more than 55 years and were inseparable. She loved the outdoors, particularly, camping, fishing and boating. Shirley was fond of car rides on a pleasant afternoon, especially when they ended up at Warner Lake, but her favorite trip of all was across the country with Henry.

Shirley is survived by her children: Vicki (Lou) Vergamini, Linda (Hamid) Khodabandehloo and James (Patty) Lilienthal, grandchildren: Holly, Stacey, Marissa, Heather, James Jr., Andrea, Kailynn, Sara and Anna, great-granddaughter Ava and brother Rodney Myers.
The funeral service will be Saturday 12:00pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.
