Shirley Labarge, age 76, of Rotterdam, NY passed away peacefully on September 30, 2023, at Ellis Hospital with family by her side.
Shirley was born in Albany, NY. She was the daughter of James and Margaret Sager.
Shirley worked at several restaurants throughout her career, enjoying them all. She even got up close and personal with the Chippendales. She eventually retired from BJ's Wholesale as a food demo supervisor. She enjoyed spending time with her fur baby Sassy, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, sitting on her boat at the lake, going to Old Orchard Beach, eating lobster, and dining out at buffets.
Survivors include four children: Madonna Tiscione of Schenectady, Jammie Lynn Bennett of South Carolina, Joseph Tiscione of East Berne, and Christine Simonds (husband Eric) of Mayfield; four grandchildren: Rachel Dente (husband Antonio) of Rotterdam, Alisha Clarke (husband William) of North Carolina and Heather Peck of South Carolina, and Destiny (Jace) Judeikis of Rotterdam; and two great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Ryan Dente, both of Rotterdam.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. before the noon service at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
