Shirley M. Lape

Rotterdam-Shirley Lape reunited with her late husband Lee Lape, son, Timothy and 7 brothers and sisters as she passed in the night Thursday after several hard fought battles with cancer. She spent her last days happily surrounded by family. "June", as she was called by many of her family and friends, loved being around her family. She enjoyed socializing at card games she attended with family every weekend. She was an incredibly strong women with a sometimes hard shell but an amazingly beautiful heart. She will be missed by her three brothers, Richard, Ronald and Roger Dames; her two sisters, Toni (Dames) Maccagnano and Chickie (Dames) Dempsey; Anna Mae Dames; her children and spouses Albert "Sandy" and Linda Lape, Nancy (Lape) and Gary Spaulding, Sherry (Lape) and Ben Norero and Tammy (Lape) Mischitelli; her grandchildren, Gary, Lee, Mykle, Benjamin, Justina, Shane, Christopher and Brandon and her 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
