SELKIRK----Shirley J. Matott, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late George and Hazel Snyder. She was predeceased by her two sisters: Egeria Wood and Ruby Matott.
Shirley was a Homemaker and a member of the Unionville Reformed Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Harold; five children: Hal, Dale (Sharon), Karen and Barbara Matott and Debra Ryan; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Douglas Snyder; a nephew, Richard Matott Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY. A funeral service will be held on Friday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bethlehem.
