GLENMONT-Shirley A. Roberts, 76, of Van Allen Apartments passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born in Albany and attended Albany High School. Shirley was employed by NY Telephone Company from 1954 until her retirement.
She is survived by her sister Gloria Cudnik of Connecticut, by a niece Susan Bergeron and by several nephews. She is also survived by her close friends Marion and Ralph Surrano of Ravena.
She was predeceased by her mother and step father Hilda and James Mellitt.
Calling hours will be held from 10:30 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Albany
