Simon F. Hotte, 56, of Middle Grove, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 11, 2022. Simon was the best husband in the world to his friend for 44 years, Vicky. They were like "Peanut Butter and Jelly" for the last 8 years.
Simon was the son of Shirley (Mama Rigatoni) and the late Reginald Hotte.
Simon worked very hard starting when he was a young man and never gave up on anything. He worked at his Dad's Sawmill and Lumberyard in his younger years and then as a meat cutter at a smokehouse. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. His favorite was running the bulldozer. He was a "Dirt Wizard." He was always happy at home, working in his yard, driving his tractors and grilling. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Vicky, especially when there were chicken wings involved. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Tuco.
Simon is survived by daughter, Amy Vincek; his grandson, Lucas Barlette; his two brothers, Tom (Sylvana) and Scott (Wendy) Hotte; his sister, Charity (Bobby) Sutherland; his aunt, Theresa Wright; his uncle, Freddy (Debbie) Hotte and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his father, Reginald Simon Hotte, Simon is predeceased by his uncle, Stanley Hotte.
Services will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Operation Underground Railroad, PO Box 560902, Denver, CO 80256.
