COLONIE- Simone Dupuis, 81, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 27, 2010 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Quebec , Canada and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose Anna Beauparlant. Simone was an avid quilter and enjoyed flowers and gardening . She was a member of the Colonie Village Seniors.
Simone is the devoted wife of 60 years to Wilfrid Dupuis. She is the beloved mother of Patricia (Larry) Krushinsky, Bonita (Martin Brecht) Dailey, Martine (Bruce) Male, David (Sandra) Dupuis and Thomas (Donna) Dupuis. She is the sister of Tom (Orise) Beauparlant and the late Laurence Dubois. Simone is the cherished grandmother of Todd, Franklin, Sheila, Jake, Pomea, Jeremy, Eric, Alex, David Jr., Robert, William, Andre, Alisha, Tommy and Luke. She is the great grandmother of Poppy and Devorah. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Our Lady of Assumption Church, Latham at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Simone Dupuis.
