Sophia Lockrow

Colonie- Sophia H. Lockrow, 86, passed away at home on Monday, January 23, 2006.
Born in East Springfield, NY she was the daughter of the late Lyman and Anna Willsey. A homemaker most of her life, Sophia was a simple woman who was raised on her family's farm and was proud of her roots. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a very loyal and caring woman to her family and friends. Sophia was predeceased by her devoted husband of over 40 years Charles L. Lockrow, her beloved son Charles R. (Dick) Lockrow and seven brothers and sisters.
Sophia is survived by her loving daughter Kathleen Nebel of Poughkeepsie, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Springfield Cemetery, Springfield Center, NY.
