Heaven's gain was our loss when our angel was called by our Lord. Sophia Rose came into this world on September 20, 2011 and was taken too soon.
Sophia Rose McCluskey passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents the evening of September 24, 2011. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on forever in our hearts. During her four short days here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.
Sophia Rose is the daughter of Ashlee Robilotti and Jerry McCluskey. Sophia is survived by her twin sisters, Mia Marilyn and Hailee Patricia, born just minutes apart; her maternal grandparents, Nicholas and Donna Robilotti of Colonie; paternal grandparents, Maurice (Woody) and Lori Potter of Schoharie; maternal great-grandmother, Marion (Robert) Hammer; uncles, Vitalo Robilotti and Jeffrey Potter; aunt, Emily Potter, and first cousin, Salvatore Citone. Sophia Rose was also blessed with a large family of great-aunts, great-uncles, and countless cousins.
Jerry and Ashlee would like to thank Drs. Franz Margono and Bruce Clark of Albany, and Dr. Mark P. Johnson from The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; as well as the nurses at St. Peter's Hospital for their compassion and support.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
