East Berne- Spencer Flansburg died at home on December 16, 2023. He was 82 years old.
He was born in Albany to the late Henrietta Jones and James Flansburg.
He was a member of the laborers union and the electrician union.
Spencer is predeceased by his brother James (Margie) and sisters, Janet (Christ Peterson) and Shirley (James Shelmerdine).
Spencer is survived by his daughters Sherry ( the late Dennis Cole) and Rhonda (Barry Gasparro). He is also survived by his partner, Pauline Lawyer of 35 years. He will also be missed by his step son, Matt Warnken and Step grandsons Cole and Kyle Warnken as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a lifetime member of the Voorheesville Rod and Gun Club, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and following the horses.
A calling hour for friends and relatives will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10am-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New
Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205 . A time to share memories will be held at 11am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Helderberg Lake Dam Fund, HCLA Dam Repair Fund, PO BOX 154, East Berne, NY 12059.
