Spiro Mastoras

COLONIE, NY – Spiro Mastoras, 61, of Colonie passed away on Friday, February 23, 2007, at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Corfu, Greece, he was the son of the late Dimitrios and Paradisio Mastoras. Spiro was currently the co-owner and operator of S & B Electric, Inc. with his partner, Vassilios Kontos for thirty years. He is the beloved husband of 37 years to Wendy A. Mastoras. He is the devoted father of Dimitrios (Molly) Mastoras of Centerville, VA and Elena (Christopher) Ameres of Parsippany, NJ. He is the loving brother of Maria, Elena and Emily, all of Greece. Spiro is the cherished grandfather of Lexi Mastoras. Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
