Schenectady- Stan A. Olshefsky , 68, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016. He was the son of the late Agnes and Joseph Olshefsky.
Stan will be forever missed by his children: Patrick, Daniel (Sheryl), Stephen, Nathan (Rachel) Olshefsky, Alice (Joel) Winkler, and Mike (Sherrie) Marmaduke; and siblings: Joseph (Sharon), Peter (Christine), Mary (Robert), Frank (Joan), and Michael.
In addition to his parents, Stan is predeceased by his son: Stanley Olshefsky Jr.; his adoring partner: Marlene Marmaduke; and siblings: Agnes, John and Anthony.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Friday, April 29th, 2016, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm. The burial will follow at Park Cemetery, in Scotia, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Stan's honor to The Human Rights Campaign (hrc.org).
