Stanford B. Brown

Stanford Brown, 92, of Albany New York passed into eternal life on July 2, 2015. Born on November 1, 1922 in Jamaica, W.I. to Simeon and Alice Brown, Stanford moved to Albany, New York in 1969. He was predeceased by his wife, Lisel M. Brown, two brothers (Cornelius and Caleb) and two sisters (Ethel and Winifred). He is survived by his children Elvis G. Brown (Karyn) of Germantown, MD; Maurice A. Brown of Albany, NY, Earl A. Brown of Tucker, GA; Elsa M. Magee (Dallas) of Albany, New York, his three grandchildren Leah, Drayvon and Enve and several generations of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9 - 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Avenue, Colonie, NY. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Eddy Village Green, House 21.
