Guilderland - Stanley W. Brucker, 77, was called to heaven at the Albany Medical Center Hospital on Friday June 22, 2007 after a brief illness. Stan was born in Utica January 12, 1930 the son of the late Kenneth and Louise Brucker. He graduated in 1948 from Saint Francis De Sales High School.
Stan honorably served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954 then graduated from college at Niagara University, Niagara Falls in 1958. He was employed by General Electric for many years and then retired from the New York State Department of Social Services as an electronic data processing Auditor in 1995.
Joined in marriage to former Marcia Ann Jaworoski of Utica, the two shared a blessed union of 50 years at their home in Schenectady. Surviving in addition to his wife, his sister Ruth Deon of Plattsburgh and several nieces and nephews, two sons; Thomas (Hilde) Brucker of Houston,Texas, Paul (Julie) Brucker of Guilderland and one daughter Marcia Mary (Phil) Garry of Colonie and eight grandchildren.
Stan enjoyed traveling, playing golf with the Helderberg Seniors Golf League, reading the daily newspaper and completing it's jumble, his home, children, grandchildren and most of all his loving wife.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 30, 2007 10:00am at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Guilderland. There will be no calling hours.
