Stanley Furman

SCHENECTADY – Stanley Furman, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Glendale Nursing Home, two days before his 83rd birthday.
Stanley was born on November 14, 1923 in Schenectady and was the son of the late Anthony and Takla Furman. He worked for many years at General Electric in Schenectady and was also a self-employed construction worker. He loved putting puzzles together then framing them.
Stanley is survived by his sister, Anna Borzymowski of Mariaville Lake, NY and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and Anthony Furman and two sisters, Mary Bienick and Sadie Peek.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155 – south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Stanley Furman.
