Colonie- Stanley V. Majkut, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born in Albany on January 22, 1929, son of the late Vincent and Tekla Majkut.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol T. Majkut. He is the father of Paul (Judy) Murray, Lora (Edwin) Fox, Linda Majkut, and Betsey (Jack) Vandenburgh; grandfather of, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Tina, Tony, Tom, and Chad. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Casmire, Tony, Frank, Joseph, Mary, Veronica, and Jane.
After being honorably discharged from the United States Army, Stanley went on to be the founder of Mobile Air Transport.
He will be remembered most for his sense of humor and love of spending time with his family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday at the funeral home with interment following in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
