Stanley E. McLean, 64, entered eternal rest unexpectedly on Friday, April 01, 2022 at St. Peter's Hospital.
He was born on December 21,1957, in Greenville, North Carolina, the son of the late Woodrow W. McLean and Annie C. McLean.
Stanley grew up in the south end of Albany, NY. Stanley was known to his friends and family as Sly, Bishopone and Stan. Stanley earned his high school diploma through Job Corps in Montana. Stanley enjoyed listening to his old school music. He enjoyed the arts, in particular free hand design, cooking, eating, boxing, and family. Stanley married Vanessa McCall, in August 1997.
Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Woodrow W. McLean and Annie C. McLean; sisters, Lee Ann McLean, Merdie M. McLean; brothers, Willie L. Lewis, Charlie M. Mangum and son, Malcolm McLean.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Vanessa McCall, Troy, New York; sister, Judith A. McLean, Albany, New York; his significant other, Michelle Thomas, Albany, New York; sisters, Tracey Naylor and Carmen Naylor, Albany, New York; brother, William H, Lewis (Clarice), Raleigh, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Nelly Mangum, Durham, North Carolina; children: Jermon McLean, Jahad McLean, Joi McLean, Ny'Quan McLean and Jadevion McLean all of Albany, NY; grandchildren: Simone McLean, Jalen McLean, Raven McLean, Damian McLean, Ny'Rese McLean, A'Ziaya White, Jad'Ziah White, Ny'Aira McLean, A'Mirah Graves, NyLayah McLean, all of Albany, New York. Stanley is also survived by a host of cousin's, nieces and nephews.
