ALBANY- Stanley J. “Stosh” Nadoraski, Jr., age 56, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2025 surrounded by family.
He was born in Albany, the son of Heidi McLean and the late Stanley J. Nadoraski Sr. He was also predeceased by his uncle Mike, aunt Eileen, grandmother Dorothy and step father Randy.
Stosh was a hardworking and kind soul that would take the shirt off his back for someone else.
He retired as a Detective from the Albany Police Department in 2004, where he was well respected. Stosh was a lifelong Master Electrician, that took great pride in his work. He was always willing to teach others and he passed the trade along to his son.
Stosh enjoyed the outdoors with his family, including fishing, camping, quading and spending time at Sacandaga Lake.
He is survived by his mother, Heidi; uncle, Doug (Adrienne); aunt, Linda (Jim); brothers: Mike and Tommy; lifelong best friend, Michele; son, Stosh; stepson, Anthony and granddaughter, Savanna Rose; nephews: Michael, Nicholas, Joseph, Jacob and Max. Also survived by many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and his beloved dog, Ice.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Wednesday March 26, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend his funeral service following at 7 p.m.
