Watervliet- Stanton P. Hussey, 79, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on August 16, 1937 to the late Foster and Marjorie Mae Hussey.
Stanton worked as a machinist for the Allied Bendix Corporation in Green Island for over 35 years. After retiring, he relocated to Middleburg, FL to live with his son. He was known for his sense of humor, his love for the outdoors, and being a Masonic Brother.
In addition to his parents, Stanton is predeceased by brothers, Foster, Harry, Don, Paul, Bruce, and Artie and his sister, Dale.
Stanton is survived by children, Laurie and Scott; his grandchildren, Sarah, Zaccary, and Lexcia; his great-grandson, Jayden; his sisters, Marge, Yvonne, and Sandra Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A service will be held on Monday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
