Stephanie A. McLean, 95, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
Born on July 15, 1928 in Utica, NY, was married to Francis P. McLean on May 1, 1954. Stephanie enjoyed 28 years of nursing services at St. Peter's Hospital Labor and Delivery Unit.
She was the daughter of Ignatius and Antonina Tupaj. Stephanie is survived by her daughter Maryann Palumbo; Son Michael (Cameron) McLean and Grandson Stephen Palumbo (and his fiancé Rachel Hennings.) She was predeceased by her husband Francis and siblings, Helen, Edward, and Edwin.
The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff of the Rosary Unit at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours and service on Wednesday, November 22nd from 9-10:30am with a service to take place at 10:30am. at New Comer Cremations and Funeral, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Activities department at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, 2 Mercy Care Lane, Guilderland, NY 12084.
