COLONIE- Stephanie L. Sichowski, 92, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, surrounded by the love of her family and her kitties.
Stephanie was born in NYC to the late Nicholas and Pauline Lesniak on May 10, 1926. In July of 1952 she married the love of her life, Nicholas Sichowski. They were married for 25 years until his passing in 1977. Together they raised two children. Stephanie was a loyal employee to the Town of Colonie, for over 20 years until her retirement in 2012. She will be remembered for her love of painting, and arts and crafts. Her passion on life was her animals.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas, her sister, Katherine Kulman, and Cleo, her Miniature Schnauzer.
She is survived by her children, Nikki Lawyer, and Steven Sichowski, her granddaughters, Samantha (Brian) Frost, and Rebecca Lawyer, her step-grandsons, Frank, Aaron, and Shawn, her loving and loyal kitty, Joey, and a host of great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held privately.
