Stephen D. Martin

GUILDERLAND – Stephen D. Martin, 83, of Guilderland, passed away on Monday May 12, 2014 at St. Peters Hospital.
He was born in Albany and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Steve was a self-employed contractor in the Albany area for many years. He cared for and saved many strays and four legged friends throughout his lifetime.
Steve was predeceased in 2013 by his beloved wife of fifty years, Jane E. Martin. He is the devoted father of Sharon Henderson and Stephen B. Martin of Guilderland. Special thanks to his dear family friends, Debbie and Brian Brusgul. He was well cared for by his caregiver Roberta, nurse Dawn and the staff at the Eddy and at St. Peter's Hospital. Steve will be dearly missed by his faithful companion, Happy.
