Stephen Paul Nohai III, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was predeceased by his mother Madeline Carrao-Nohai.
He was a Corrections Officer for several facilities, his last location being the Hudson Correctional Facility. He was there for many years.
Stephen enjoyed listening to music and loved going to Lebanon Valley Speedway. He was an avid Redskins fan and loved his NY Yankees. He was known for his wittiness and his great sense of humor.
Stephen is survived by his father Michael Carrao, his daughter, Nicolette Nohai; his sisters Judy (Donald) Carhart, MaryAnn Patti and Michelle (Robert) Burns. He is also by his nieces and nephews, Michael Engwer, Sean Burns, Mikayla Carhart, Anthony Patti and his great niece Lillian Engwer
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY on Tuesday October 25, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery, Wynantskill, NY.
