Steven Lysiak

Mayfield- Steven J. Lysiak, 55, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 27, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. The son of the late John H. and Janice H. (Doyle) Lysiak, Sr., Steve was born in Albany, NY on January 23, 1962.
Steve had a love for the outdoors, he was a snowmobile enthusiast and enjoyed boating.

He loved to spend time with family and friends and was quick to challenge anyone to a game of pool.

Steve had a kind soul and was loved by all who met him. He would light up any room that he was in with his presence and his animated tales. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Steve is survived by his children: Michael, Jessica and Colleen Mahoney; his sister, Susan (Don) Riccio; his brother, Jeff (Jodi) Lysiak; his lifelong friend Alan (April) Sheppard; his sister-in-law Donna Lysiak and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his brother John H. Lysiak, Jr.
Steve's family wishes to express their gratitude to the Second Floor Nurses and Staff at St. Theresa Unit/Hall at St. Mary's Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, November 2 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY. A graveside service will be at 10 am on Friday, November 3 at Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
