COLONIE – Steven M. Igo, Jr., 23, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010.
Steven was born in Albany on May 27, 1986 and is the son of Lorrie A. (Mahar) Hirsch and Steven M. Igo, Sr. He was a 2004 graduate of Colonie High School. He enjoyed music and hanging out with his friends.
Steven is survived by his mother, Lorrie A. Hirsch; his father, Steven M. Igo, Sr.; his stepfather, Thomas J. Hirsch, Jr.; his sisters, Kourtney A. Igo and Brittany A. Hirsch; his brother, Brady T. Hirsch; his grandparents, Christopher J. and Bernice Igo, and James and Janice Mahar, Sr.; his aunts, Sue, Sandy (Jim), Gail (Mike), Chrissy (Wayne) and Donna (Scott); his uncles, James Jr. and Todd (Terri) and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Amanda M. Igo; his grandparents, Margaret and Richard Ballard and his great-grandmother, Isabella Mahar.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Albany Chapter of the Autism Society of America, 101 State St., Schenectady, NY 12305 in memory of Steven M. Igo, Jr.
